Cousin’s House

Standard

A rocky road,

An unsteady beginning,

Couldn’t name a home.

Jumped around

From place to place,

Never knowing why.

But cousin’s house

Was always there,

Steady and unchanging.

Cousin’s house

Was filled with joy.

A place that I, too,

Could call home.
